This drawing is inspired by the Kharkiv-7, the first permanent artificial heart, which was developed by Robert Jarvik, based on the model previously created by Paul Winchell in 1963, and which was implanted in 61-year-old patient Barney Clark, who survived for 112 days after the implantation at the University of Utah on December 2, 1982.
Ink drawing on 7.5 x 7.5 cm paper from the 365 days of drawing challenge.
