This drawing is inspired by Lady Nancy Astor, who was a prominent British politician and the first woman to occupy a seat in the House of Commons of the United Kingdom on December 1, 1919. She was elected to represent the Conservative Party and her entry into politics marked a milestone for women in the British political sphere.
