This drawing is inspired by World Monkey Day, celebrated on December 14th. Although the date is not official, as it was popularized by students at the University of Michigan who held an art event in honor of primates in 2003, it has been adopted in many parts of the world to raise awareness about the conservation of these animals and their habitats.
