This drawing is inspired by World Stray Dog Day, which is celebrated on July 27. The initiative came from a Chilean journalism student named Ignacio Gac, who in 2008 started a campaign that sought to promote adoption and understand its importance, as well as raise awareness of the care that animals deserve.
