This drawing is inspired by the day Denis Mukwege was born, a Congolese gynecologist and Nobel Peace Prize winner born on March 1, 1955. In 1999 he founded the Panzi Hospital, treating since then more than 50,000 women and girls with gynecological injuries, 60% of which are caused by sexual violence from conflict zones.
