This drawing is inspired by three events that happened on November 24:

• In 1859 Charles Darwin's “On the Origin of Species” was published.

• In 1974 the fossil remains of Lucy, the species Australopithecus afarensis, were discovered.

• In 2003 Snowflake, a white gorilla with blue eyes who lived in the Barcelona Zoo, died.
